YSLEP is the flagship program of CARITAS MANILA with other Implementing Caritas Partners (ICP). It aims to break the chains of poverty by providing college education opportunities for deserving youth in the Diocese of Kalookan.


Developed Servant Leaders of their Community with Self-discipline, Moral Integrity, and Social Responsibility.

  2. Guide partners to complete the program
  3. Inspire partners on Stewardship values

YSLEP integrates academic and leadership development for scholastic excellence and Christian values formation.

  • Screening applicants prior to the final interview of Caritas Manila YSLEP Team
  • Monthly YSL Formation Training – Cycles 1,2,3 & 4
  • Monthly Monitoring, Evaluating & Reporting
  • Planning and Structuring of Formations/Training
  • Inter-diocesan coordinators’ meeting
  • Livelihood Training with parents of YSLEP scholars
